im looking for a MARIJUANA connect in ******** sorry i didnt specify. a dank supplier is preferred but i can live with Mids also

I wonder if SR frowns upon this kind of thread or tolerates it.

F2F or real life transactions opens a whole new bag of worms and risks. But I suppose its his risk and doesn't necessarily hurt SR, or does it? I'd be curious if any SR vets have opinions on this.

If no one has a problem with it I might make a thread for my (VAGUE) area - I just don't want to turn this forum into a bunch of real life requests and ruin it for others.

The whole point of SR is anonymity. Exposing yourself F2F exposes grave risks to yourself and the community.
Lets say homeboy OG turns out to be LE. OK, They nab the seller.
They know the seller is an active forum member, so now they can bargain passwords, PGP keys, access to SR, etc.
Or, OP, you can order online like everyone else.

my bad. im new to the forums. im just not entirely convinced on using SR to buy big amounts like an oz or a lb. you know. i thought this might be a good place to maybe find a dealer or a grower in my area.

You might want to delete your accounts and start again as your lack of security awareness is concerning.  If you tried to buy off me I'd reject the sale to reduce the risk to me.
